I am extremely pleased that the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA PAKISTAN) under the aegis of National CPD Committee and Knowledge Now (KN) have signed a MOU which aims to provide ICMA Pakistan members an exclusive interactive webinar repository to watch recorded webinars at any given time. ICMA Pakistan members would now have the unique opportunity to avail best of the knowledge from global speakers at a much competitive market rate and instantly claim CPDs for the same from ICMA Pakistan. This would ensure that members can get instant access to all the webinars which they missed out attending live.

ICMA Pakistan through this platform, aims to provide its members the facilities of:

• Live Webinars
• Archived videos of lectures/webinars
• Follow up questionnaires
• Presentations
• A forum for members to stay in contact
• And many other learning opportunities.

This repository portal of recorded content is developed in a very transparent manner enabling members to track their watched webinars and respective CPDs they are eligible to claim. ICMA Pakistan administrator(s) can equally generate reports to further confirm allocating CPDs for the same in a very transparent manner.

The MoU has been signed, keeping in view the fact that a major chunk of senior level executives in Pakistan and in the region belongs to this prestigious Institute, yet they are unable to spare time from their busy schedules to attend live sessions to claim CPDs. The new interactive portal will now guide members to plan completion of their CPDs with an ease of their own time.

The MoU was signed as a token of understanding to provide ICMA Pakistan members a broader platform at subsidized rates to enhance their knowledge and learning from top-notch global speakers coming from top IVY-league educational institutes and firms.

The National Council through its different Non-Standing Committee are working diligently to provide state-of-the-art facilities for professional grooming of members of the Institute.

CPD Requirments

• Every member is required to complete 40 hours in one year or 120 hours in every 3 years period with a minimum of 20 hours in a year.
